What is more natural than telling the story of the storyteller. The story of JRR Tolkien will be well adapted to the cinema and we know more about its casting and its content. As expected, the script will be the work of David Gleeson, director of The Front Line (2006), assisted in his work by the author of Pride (2014), Stephen Beresford.
Finnish filmmaker Dome Karukoski ( Tom of Finland ) will be behind the camera to portray the experiences of a juvenile Tolkien. The master of the heroic fantasy will be brought to the screen by Nicholas Hoult. The British actor, famous for his roles of the Fawn in the X-Men saga and Nux in Mad Max Fury Road , will play alongside Lily Collins ( Okja ) and Colm Meaney ( Star Trek: New Generation).
