How to do otherwise! The larger-than-life series Game Of Thrones garnered a majority of nominations for the 70th Emmy Awards, 22 to be exact. This bloody fresco, which presented last summer its seventh and penultimate season, could not have been eligible for the previous gala of the American television, its episodes being diffused too late in the year. Never mind, the production looks good despite a shorter season, but oh so intense.
Following closely the world of Westeros, Saturday Night Live’s sketch show earned 21 mentions, as did the fantastic Westworld drama. The hard-hitting series Handmaid’s Tale, whose second season is already available on Club Illico, has garnered 20 nominations. The Parts Unknown series of the late Anthony Bourdain is finalist in six categories.
Discover a glimpse of the nominations unveiled today for this great evening that will unfold on September 17th.
