Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese join forces for a new film

The thriller entitled Killers of the Flower Moon goes into production at Paramount.

Martin Scorsese is a bulimic at work. After his documentary on Bob Dylan’s musical tour, Rolling Thunder Revue , the final editing of his film for Netflix, The Irishman , the prolific filmmaker is already on another project.

Deadline tells us that the director is teaming up with one of his favorite actors, Leonardo DiCaprio . It would be the sixth film collaboration between Marty and Leo. Long in the box, Killers of the Flower Moon is now in the hands of Paramount and those of the tandem behind Aviator , Infiltrated or Shutter Island .

The film tells the story of a young FBI agent investigating a series of murders perpetrated against the Native American community. Based on David Grann’s original book, Killers of the Flower Moon will be adapted by Oscar-nominated screenwriter Eric Roth for Forrest Gump .

For the moment no date of shooting, nor exit, were planned by the Paramount. It is important to note that DiCaprio is also related to the Guillermo del Toro project , Nightmare Alley . Let’s hope that both projects do not enter into a schedule conflict. Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese did not shoot together on a feature film since The Wolf of Wall Street in 2013.
